Indonesia lahir pada abad ke-20 sebagai sebuah negara yang mengadopsi konsep bernegara hukum sesuai dengan prinsip konstitusionalisme. Peraturan perundang-undangan yang esensinya merupakan sekumpulan sistem peraturan untuk menghadirkan tatanan hukum dan masyarakat yang tertib, justru pada fakta lapangan menjadi timbulnya konflik, baik konflik internal antar peraturan maupun konflik eksternal yang melibatkan lembaga pemerintahan dan masyarakat. Paradigma penelitian dalam penulisan artikel ini ialah hukum normative yang digunakan dalam penelitian Ilmu Hukum ini adalah statute approach dan conceptual approach dan metodologi kedua pendekatan tersebut untuk menjawab pertanyaan-pertanyaan hukum dalam permasalahan hukum. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas sosiologi hukum dalam perundang-undangan dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, yaitu aturan hukum (perundang-undangan) dan kesadaran masyarakat itu sendiri. Kata Kunci: Fungsi Sosiologi Hukum, Konflik, perundang undangan, ilmu hukum Abstract Indonesia was born in the 20th century as a country that adopted the concept of a legal state in accordance with the principles of constitutionalism. Legislative regulations, which are essentially a set of regulatory systems to provide an orderly legal and societal order, actually in fact give rise to conflicts, both internal conflicts between regulations and external conflicts involving government institutions and society. The research paradigm in writing this article is normative law which is used in this Legal Science research, namely the statute approach and conceptual approach and the methodology of these two approaches is to answer legal questions in legal issues. The results of this research show that the effectiveness of legal sociology in legislation is influenced by several factors, namely legal rules (legislation) and public awareness itself.
