Abstract
Pariwisata merupakan elemen penting dalam suatu wilayah yang didukung oleh berbagai kegiatan dan fasilitas layanan. Keberhasilan pengembangan pariwisata terdapat konsep yang sangat penting diantaranya konsep sadar wisata dan sapta pesona yang berkaitan dengan dukungan peran serta masyarakat sebagai tuan rumah. Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir (OKI) memiliki beragam destinasi pariwisata baik itu alam, budaya, dan buatan serta didukung dengan adanya jalan Tol Trans Sumatera yang memudahkan akses dari berbagai daerah untuk datang berwisata ke kabupaten ini. Belum terinventarisasi atau teridentifikasinya penerapan konsep sadar wisata dan sapta pesona di Kabupaten OKI ditengah perkembangan pariwisata di berbagai daerah dapat menghambat pertumbuhan pariwisata yang ada. Kegiatan ini bertujuan melakukan sosialisasi pentingnya penerapan sadar wisata dan sapta pesona Kabupaten OKI. Metode yang digunakan pada pra-kegiatan terdiri dari: Persiapan dasar, Pengumpulan data informasi, Kompilasi dan interpretasi. Kemudian saat kegiatan (sosialisasi) dengan metode presentasi pemaparan materi dan diskusi. Hasil yang didapatkan yaitu penyamaan persepsi terkait konsep sadar wisata dan sapta pesona, kebutuhan kelompok sadar wisata yang belum memenuhi serta penerapan sapta pesona di destinasi pariwisata. kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak positif untuk perkembangan pariwisata di Kabupaten OKI dan menghasilkan tindak lanjut dalam pembuatan promosi wisata untuk menarik minat wisatawan serta investor untuk datang ke Kabupaten OKI.
