Abstract
Yukon-based artist Nicole Bauberger invites readers for a walk through the Dalton Trail Trail Gallery, an ad-hoc outdoor gallery she created in her backyard at the onset of Covid. While she walks you through various projects and events in the gallery, she discusses locality, risk resilience, art practice, public art, community arts and arts education in dialogue with her readings of bell hooks and her relationship with Kwanlin Dün elder Mrs. Annie Smith.
