La bibliothéconomie, la gestion de l’information, l’archivistique ou les techniques documentaires, la création progressive des associations professionnelles dans ces domaines, et enfin l’amélioration continue de l’enseignement et des formations ont transformé la société, la culture et les citoyens au Québec, pays pionnier à bien des égards dans ces domaines. Là comme ailleurs, la profession a dû faire face et s’adapter à de nombreux tsunamis (dont la Covid). À partir d’expériences-terrain et de projets menés au cours des dernières décennies, Élisabeth Lavigueur, experte chevronnée en sciences de l’information, présente des réflexions originales et formule des messages profonds et parfois piquants. De quoi susciter des inspirations, des échanges propices et des provocations fécondes.
