Abstract

A novel integral identity is introduced that can be applied to circular and diamond symmetric functions. It is demonstrated how this new identity and its alternative representations can be employed to facilitate integral derivations, including available examples in the literature as its special cases. As another application of the presented integral identities, a new integral transform is introduced that transforms circular symmetric functions to corresponding diamond symmetric functions. It is also illustrated how other integral equalities can be developed based on the introduced identities and using known integral transform kernels. Then, two-dimensional Mellin and Fourier transform kernels are adopted as case studies.
