Abstract

Climate change is one of the most important challenges affecting natural ecosystems and various aspects of human life. The effects of global warming on the hydrology and water cycle in nature are very serious, and identifying these effects in small quantities will make communities more prepared to deal with the consequences. Most of the river basins in the United States and Canada have experienced dramatic changes in flow, reducing their natural ability to adjust to and absorb disturbances. The above-mentioned expected changes in global climate and water needs may create serious problems, including loss of native biodiversity and risks to ecosystems and humans from increased flooding or water shortages. Here, river basin parameters under climate change conditions are evaluated. The results of the research, while expressing the importance of the effects of climate change, consider their application in the use of proper management in order to adapt to climate change in the future of Northern America's basins management policies.
