Abstract
We read with great interest the letter by Vendramin and colleagues1 regarding our analysis on the repair of acute type A aortic dissection (ATAD), which compared hemiarch replacement and total arch replacement. We thank the authors for providing additional valuable insights into this ongoing debate about the optimal arch management strategy for ATAD.
