Abstract
In this article we argue that verses from the poem "Raven Travelling" by Haida poet Skaay of the Qquuna Qiighawaay (c.1827 - c.1905) may be used to visualize the process of mathematical discovery. We support our claim by a few examples from Ramsey theory and the Bailey—Borwein definition of experimental mathematics.
