Abstract
The article presents a study of the main trends characterizing development of economic relations between Canada and China in the period from 1990 to 2023. Main indicators of bilateral economic cooperation are analyzed. It is concluded that in the early 2020s, there was a reversal in the trend towards the growth of bilateral trade and direct investment flows between Canada and China. Attention is drawn to the fact that the dynamics of Canadian-Chinese economic relations are increasingly affected by the policy of confrontation with China, imposed today by the United States on its junior military and political partners.
