Abstract

This paper addresses the challenge of enhancing data accuracy in IoT networks, essential for a range of applications from smart infrastructure to vehicular systems. We introduce a dual-layer deep learning framework that integrates an autoencoder and a classifier to effectively manage the label noise inherent in sensor-derived data. This framework facilitates the identification and self-supervised correction of mislabeled instances, thereby not only resolving the issue of label noise but also boosting the robustness of our predictions. Through experiments with several sensor network and time-series datasets, our approach has proven to significantly enhance data accuracy and reliability.
