Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

I figli dell’uomo sapiente (1915).||Abstract : The essay offers a study on the children’s fiction of the Palermo writer Maria Messina (1887- 1944). In order to interpret its historical value, we first investigate the relationships between his literary production and the policy of acculturation of Italian childhood in the panorama of the newly unified State, when the new national educational needs merge with the need to make the population literate youth. After a brief historical excursus on the fairy tale genre, the peculiar traits of the Messinian fairy tale are outlined through a linguistic analysis of the works I racconti di Cismè (1912), Pirichitto (1914) e I figli dell’uomo sapiente (1915).

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
