Abstract
Interest in the structural issue of centralised bargaining in the health sector must be seen as part of the evolution of collective bargaining generally in the three countries under review. The degree of centralisation under which collective bargaining is conducted is but one of the many inputs that has shaped, and has been shaped by, the outcomes and the other inputs of collective bargainings. This is true in all industries; the health sector is no exception.
