Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh self-compassion terhadap psychological well-being pada dewasa awal yang mengalami quarter life crisis di Karawang. Menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian asosiatif. Penelitian ini melibatkan 259 responden berusia 20-30 tahun berada di tahap dewasa awal yang mengalami quarter life crisis yang dipilih melalui teknik convenience sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah Skala Welas Diri (SWD) dan Ryff’s Scale of Psychological Well-Being (RPWB). Analisis data menggunakan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil uji hipotesis menyatakan bahwa self-compassion berpengaruh signifikan terhadap psychological well-being dengan p = 0.000 (p0.05). Koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0.495 menunjukkan bahwa 45.9% psychological well-being dipengaruhi oleh self-compassion sedangkan sisanya sebesar 54.1% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak disebutkan dalam penelitian ini. Temuan penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa self-compassion memiliki pengaruh dengan arah positif terhadap psychological well-being.
