“Novo Ensino Médio” e neoliberalismo educacional: impactos no currículo e na gestão escolar

Abstract
Com o início do Governo Lula, crescem os questionamentos ao Novo Ensino Médio e, entre os argumentos pela revogação, destacam-se os apontamentos sobre o caráter neoliberal da reforma que o instituiu. Procuramos contribuir para o debate a partir da identificação e análise das consequências do neoliberalismo educacional, baseando-nos nas definições de Dardot e Laval (2016) e de Laval (2020). Realizamos análise documental, partindo da Lei 5.692/1971 até chegar à publicação da BNCC e ao edital do PNLD 2021, passando por quatro propostas até a Lei 13.415/2017, cuja revogação segue em pauta no PL 5230/2023. A ligação entre o Novo Ensino Médio e o neoliberalismo é mais sofisticada que um ataque genérico ao ensino público. Trata-se, antes, da difusão de uma visão sobre o fazer educacional, com impactos sobre as instituições escolares e sobre a formação das subjetividades dos estudantes.
