Abstract

Achieving proper magnetic performance is one of the important factors of coupling structure design for Electric Vehicle Charging in wireless power transfer systems. In this regard, the analysis of self-inductances and coupling coefficient between transmitter and receiver are essential tools. One of the ways to increase the coupling coefficient is obtained with the proper design of the coil structures. Therefore, this paper focuses on the coupling efficient variation in different conventional coil structures for charging electric vehicles under scenarios of magnetic structural changes. For this purpose, these structure coils with various configurations are comparatively studied to determine optimal solutions. Finally, the best arrangement design results in considerable electromagnetic behavior to improve the coupling stability under misalignment.
