Abstract
Cet article traite de l’importance du prénom d’une personne en relation avec son scénario, en se concentrant spécifiquement sur la culture et le contexte polonais. Une enquête auprès de 90 étudiants universitaires âgés de 21 à 23 ans a révélé que la plupart d’entre eux pensaient que leur prénom avait été choisi de manière intentionnelle et qu’ils avaient une attitude positive à son égard. Les résultats ont également indiqué que, lorsque leurs parents s’adressaient à eux, les mères utilisaient plus souvent des diminutifs que les pères. En choisissant le prénom de leur enfant, la plupart des parents voulaient qu’il sonne bien et soit original, tandis que le deuxième prénom était souvent le même que celui d’un membre important de la famille. Les entretiens menés avec plusieurs étudiants ont confirmé l’existence d’un lien entre le nom et divers aspects du scénario.
