Abstract
Memristor, one of the four fundamental circuit elements, has gained huge research interest in recent times due to its scalability, non-volatile nature, and unique properties such as neuromorphic capability. Efficient memristor logic circuit design is one of the most important areas for the fruition of this emerging technology. In this paper, new designs of some combinational circuits (1-bit binary comparator and 1-to-2 demultiplexer) have been proposed. Material implication, or IMPLY, being one of the most common memristor logic design methodologies, has been used to design these circuits. The proposed 1-bit comparator designs are among the most efficient designs ever reported. Regarding the 1-to-2 demultiplexer implementation, one of the proposed designs shows as much as a $45 \%$ improvement over the previously best design.
