Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

The development of packaging strategies is an essential tool to ensure food safety and quality. Therefore, this research aims to investigate active packaging and antimicrobial packaging technologies used to guarantee food safety. This study employs a systematic review methodology of the scientific literature, limited to works published in the last six years and reviewed in their original language. The new active and antimicrobial packaging strategies to enhance food safety include the development of organic and inorganic nanoparticles, as well as the use of biopolymeric antimicrobial films and modified atmosphere packaging. The countries with the most extensive research on these innovative strategies were China, Brazil, and India, with lesser contributions from Mexico, Egypt, Canada, Saudi Arabia, and others. The analyzed packaging strategies promise to evolve into advanced and eco-friendly materials that contribute to sustainable development and protect the integrity of food products.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
