Abstract
La carrière littéraire de Victor-Lévy Beaulieu est longue de près d'un demi-siècle, mais rarement, pour lui, une année aura été aussi faste que la dernière quant à la reconnaissance.S'il est un habitué des prix littéraires, s'il a déjà obtenu le prix Athanase-David, un des plus importants honneurs des lettres québécoises, Beaulieu avait malgré cela toujours été considéré avec suspicion par certains animateurs culturels du Québec, que ce soit en raison de ses interventions publiques, de la fréquence de ses publications ou de la place que prend le personnage dans l'institution littéraire.Or les événements récents tendent à indiquer un renversement notable dans l'accueil réservé à l'écrivain de Trois-Pistoles.Que Pierre Foglia (2012 : A5), dans La Presse, qualifie Beaulieu de « plus grand écrivain vivant de [notre] pays » n'étonne guère, considérant la récurrence de ses commentaires flatteurs sur l'œuvre beaulieusienne, mais que la collaboration entre l'auteur de Race de monde et Boréal se poursuive et soit aussi fructueuse est plus surprenant, étant donné la différence de
