Abstract
« Cet ouvrage vise à donner un point d’ancrage à un ambitieux projet de société où la quête d’autodétermination de la nation québécoise s’unirait à celles des nations autochtones du Québec. S’appuyant sur une philosophie renouvelée de l’interculturalisme, l’auteur fournit ici des pistes de solution conceptuelles, mais aussi concrètes, aux débats parfois stériles et apparemment irréconciliables entourant les politiques linguistiques ou encore la protection du territoire. Il aborde également la question de la défense des intérêts du Québec au sein du Canada, en postulant qu’elle peut être compatible avec celle des enjeux des nations autochtones. En conclusion, l’auteur présente une étude du cas de la protection de l’environnement et formule des propositions de réformes, puisées à même cette version enrichie de l’interculturalisme. »--Page 4 de la couverture
