Abstract
Les outils d’évaluation des commotions cérébrales dans le sport, tels que le CRT6, SCAT6®, Child SCAT6®, SCOAT6 et Child SCOAT6, ont été développés par le Concussion in Sport Group (CISG) pour standardiser la prévention, la détection et la prise en charge des commotions. Le CRT6 est destiné aux non-professionnels de la santé pour une identification rapide des signes de commotion. Les SCAT6® et Child SCAT6® sont utilisés par les professionnels de santé pour des évaluations immédiates sur le terrain et hors-jeu, dans les 72 heures suivant l’incident. Les SCOAT6 et Child SCOAT6, pour un cadre clinique au-delà des 72 heures et jusqu’à 30 jours, offrent une évaluation plus complète incluant des tests cognitifs et neurologiques, et une évaluation de la santé mentale et du sommeil. Ces outils, accessibles en plusieurs langues, visent à améliorer la gestion et la prévention des commotions cérébrales, contribuant ainsi à la sécurité des athlètes. Concussion assessment tools in sport, such as the CRT6, SCAT6®, Child SCAT6®, SCOAT6 and Child SCOAT6, have been developed by the Concussion in Sport Group (CISG) to standardize the prevention, detection and management of concussions. The CRT6 is intended for non-health care professionals for quick identification of signs of concussion. SCAT6® and Child SCAT6® are used by healthcare professionals for immediate on-field and off-court assessments, within 72 hours of the incident. The SCOAT6 and Child SCOAT6, for a clinical setting beyond 72 hours and up to 30 days, offer a more comprehensive assessment including cognitive and neurological testing, and mental health and sleep assessment. These tools, which are available in multiple languages, aim to improve the management and prevention of concussions, thereby contributing to the safety of athletes.
