Abstract
A Atenção Primária à Saúde (APS) trata-se de uma estratégia de prevenção e tratamento em tempo oportuno de doenças altamente prevalentes na sociedade. Como um dos principais objetivos da APS, há o tratamento, prevenção e acompanhamento de Doenças Crônicas Não Transmissíveis (DCNTs). Sendo estas um grupo de enfermidades permanentes que são desencadeadas por diversos fatores, sendo este um grave problema de saúde pública. O presente estudo tem como estudo principal demonstrar os estudos acerca da APS como um mecanismo de prevenção de doenças. Além disso, tem como objetivo secundário auxiliar futuros estudos sobre a temática proposta, com a exposição das literaturas. A partir da realização da pesquisa bibliográfica, foi possível obter 63 estudos na plataforma Scielo e 380 na plataforma Periódico Capes. Após a aplicação dos critérios de inclusão, os resultados foram equivalentes a 11 estudos na plataforma Scielo e 128 na plataforma Periódico Capes. Diante do exposto, pode-se concluir a necessidade da valorização da APS por meio da implementação, constante atualização e fiscalização da PNAB, para a garantia da prestação de uma assistência eficaz e humanizada.
