Abstract
O objetivo deste artigo é mostrar como a cultura política local pode influenciar no que é notícia, ou seja, como se constitui em um fator de noticiabilidade. Um destaque em website noticioso pode vir a ser notícia sem nenhum atributo (fator intrínseco), mas apenas pelo poder de elite (fator extrínseco). Analisamos oito website regionais das duas regiões mais ricas e das duas regiões mais pobres da Bahia no período pré-eleitoral das eleições municipais de 2020. Como alternativa às classificações tradicionais, sugerimos uma análise dos valores-notícia com separação entre intrínsecos e extrínsecos e depois o estudo do evento-foco. Concluímos que um em cada 10 destaques dos oito websites do interior da Bahia durante o período pré-eleitoral de 2020 têm o poder de elite como único critério de noticiabilidade.
