Abstract
Biological control has a long and rich history in Canada that has been recorded in the book series, Biological Control Programmes in Canada , of which this is the sixth volume. This chapter briefly reviews the community of researchers that have contributed and continue to contribute to biological control programmes for the management of arthropods, weeds, and plant pathogens in Canada, the changes and challenges that have influenced biological control programmes over time, and the challenges that biological control research programmes will face in the future.
