Review capaian kinerja pemerintahan adalah agenda tahunan yang harus dilaksanakan sesuai dengan amanat peraturan perundang-undangan. tidak hanya itu, tahun 2020 mengharuskan pemerintah untuk menelaah dampak pandemi terhadap target yang telah ditetapkan. Kota Malang memiliki 4 Misi dalam mencapai visi besarnya yang salah satu dari keempat misi tersebut disebut sebagai pembangunan bidang sosial kota malang. Penelitian inimenggunakan pendekatan Multi-methods yang memungkinkan peneliti menggunakan beberapa metode penelitian sesuai dengan kebutuhan penelitian. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pandemi tidak berdampak begitu besar terhadap ketercapaian kinerja terhadap target baik dampak positif maupun negatif dalam pembangunan bidang sosial di Kota Malang. Beberapa indikator yang digunakan memerlukan kajian khusus terkait signifikansinya terhadap indikator diatasnya sehingga dari tahap program hingga tujuan berkesinambungan sesuai konsep Urban Sustainable Development.
