Abstract

A tese de que o jornalismo das periferias é um fenômeno comunicacional se reforça com o avançar das pesquisas realizadas. Observa-se nessa prática um alinhamento narrativo aos protagonismos periféricos e um olhar mais atento às pluralidades interseccionais. Exemplo desse interesse crescente pode ser encontrado no Programa Diversidade nas Redações, do Laboratório de Jornalismo Énois, realizado com 10 redações durante um ano. Aproveitando-se dessa experiência, este trabalho se configura como uma pesquisa exploratória sobre o Programa nos primeiros seis meses de sua realização. O objetivo é identificar possíveis mudanças registradas nas práticas jornalísticas a partir do conjunto de conhecimentos do jornalismo das periferias. Como estratégia metodológica foi utilizada a ideia de observação natural.
