Abstract
Tujuan dari penilitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh persepsi, perilaku dan sosial budaya masyarakat terhadap pelestarian Hutan Diklat Pondok Buluh, Kecamatan Dolok Panribua, Kabupaten Simalungun. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) observasi, (2) wawancara, (3) quesioner/angket dan (4) dokumentasi. Selanjutnya teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan (1) analisis deskriftif dan (2) analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian melalui penyebaran kuisioner terhadap 100 orang responden, terkait pengaruh persepsi masyarakat terhadap pelestarian Hutan Diklat Pondok Buluh adalah ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara variabel persepsi masyarakat terhadap pelestarian hutan diklat Pondok Buluh; sedangkan pengaruh perilaku masyarakat terhadap pelestarian hutan diklat Pondok Bulu menunjukkan bahwa tingkat korelasi antara perilaku dengan pelestarian hutan Pondok Buluh berpengaruh positif; demikian juga dengan pengaruh sosial budaya terhadap pelestarian hutan diklat Ponok Bulu diperoleh adanya pengaruh positif. Secara uji serempak variabel persepsi, perilaku dan social budaya masyarakat terhadap pelestarian hutan Pondok Buluh berpengaruh positif. Persamaan yang didapat dalam peneitian ini adalah Y = -19,412 + 1,112X1- 0,002X2 – 0,780X3. Pembahasan, hasil analisis regresi berganda yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh persepsi, perilaku dan sosial budaya masyarakat terhadap pelestarian hutan Pondok Buluh terdapat pengaruh positif antara variabel persepsi, perilaku dan sosial budaya masyarakat terhadap pelestarian hutan Pondok Buluh. Saran, masyarakat memandang bahwa hutan harus tetap dijaga dan dilestarikan dan perlu adanya penguatan kapasitas lembaga baik lembaga pemerintah maupun lembaga masyarakat dalam rangka pelestarian hutan.
