Abstract: Après une courte présentation de l'oeuvre d'Audrée Wilhelmy, nous conduisons un entretien avec l'autrice francophone canadienne autour de son rapport au corps, à la langue, et à la création. Au fil de ses publications et de ses interventions multimédia, l'artiste tisse un rapport particulier à la notion de contrainte, prise au sens large, et s'impose comme une des voix les plus inventives de la nouvelle génération d'auteurs québécois. Depuis les contraintes littéraires de la réécriture du conte Barbe Bleue dans Les sangs (2013), ou encore en parcourant la frontière du corps féminin et de l'animalité dans Le corps des bêtes (2017), les personnages d'Audrée Wilhelmy s'inscrivent dans une nature sauvage qui participe activement à leur devenir-femme. Son troisième roman Blanc résine (2019) est une ode à la puissance féminine et au savoir des premières nations, incarnés par Daã. Dans le rapport littéraire à la contrainte, nous discutons du rapport entre l'innocence des formes littéraires et des normes morales. Audrée Wilhelmy travaille l'anormalité conjuguée à l'amoralité, lorsque les existences animales « nues » mettent à nu les habitudes sociales. L'autrice s'attache à l'écriture du tabou que ce soit dans l'exploration du mal, du fantasme ( Les sangs ), de l'interdit ( Le corps des bêtes ) et du renoncement ( Blanc résine ).
