Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Kebijakan Dinas Pendidikan dan Partisipasi Penerbit Buku Terhadap Pembangunan Pendidikan di Kabupaten Simalungun. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan memberikan daftar pertanyaan kepada masyarakat yang berada di Kabupaten Simalungun. Yang menjadi sampel sebanyak 100 orang masyarakat yang mewakili, Tehnik analisa data digunakan adalah regresi berganda, serta pengujian, pengolah data dilakukan dengan bantuan program SPSS. Dengan menggunakan uji koefisen determinasi hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Kebijakan Dinas Pendidikan dan Partisipasi Penerbit Buku Terhadap Pembangunan Pendidikan di Kabupaten Simalungun adalah sebesar 0,560 atau 56,0%. Sisanya sebesar 44% yang tidak masuk dalam penelitian ini, Penelitian ini memberikan sumbangan pemikiran dan saran kepada Pemerintah Kabupaten Simalungu bahwa Pembangunan Pendidikan membutuhkan perhatian menyeluruh dari stake holder Kabupaten Simalungun, partisipasi masyarakat dalam memberikan informasi dan saran pendapat akan meningkatkan pembangunan Pendidikan di Kabupaten Simalungun
