Le 13 avril 2019, « un (nouveau) Code civil » est né. Le législateur belge a en effet décidé de réformer son droit civil en profondeur et, depuis le 1er novembre 2020, le Code civil du 21 mars 1804 (le Code Napoléon) est devenu, pour les Belges, l’« ancien Code civil ». À partir d’une lecture du livre 3 « Les Biens » du Code civil belge (acte 1), les autrices offrent une étude comparative qui propose une analyse textuelle et conceptuelle du Livre 4 - « Des biens » du Code civil du Québec afin de revisiter les théories qui soutiennent son droit des biens.
