Dans les paysages anthropisés, les milieux naturels constituent des refuges pour la biodiversité. Le bois de Brossard fait partie de l’un des derniers grands habitats forestiers en Montérégie, au Québec. Cet article vise à brosser un portrait de la communauté de papillons de jour de ce site, puis à évaluer la contribution des milieux fermés et ouverts à la biodiversité du site. Les papillons de jour (Lepidoptera : Papilionoidea) du bois de Brossard ont été inventoriés de 2018 à 2022. Trente-six espèces ont été répertoriées. Le nombre d’espèces était comparable dans les 2 types de milieux, mais les courbes d’accumulation d’espèces et les indices de biodiversité laissent penser que le milieu ouvert est plus diversifié. De plus, 65 % des espèces étaient communes aux 2 types de milieux. Les données présentées dans cet article fourniront une base de référence pour documenter les changements futurs dans la composition des communautés des 2 types de milieux.
