Die »Kinderrechtebasierte Präventionskette« stellt in Hessen eine ganzheitliche Strategie zur Stärkung der Kinderrechte und zur Förderung eines gesunden und gelingenden Aufwachsens dar. Sie basiert auf der Anerkennung und Umsetzung der UN-Kinderrechtskonvention und den Prinzipien der Ottawa-Charta zur Gesundheitsförderung. Als ganzheitliches Konzept stehen sowohl die Rechte aller Kinder auf Schutz, Förderung und Beteiligung als auch die kindbezogenen Lebensbedingungen und Ressourcen im Fokus.
