Abstract
Compte tenu de la judiciarisation des personnes ayant des troubles de santé mentale et de leur prévalence élevée dans les milieux carcéraux, il serait opportun d’explorer la manière dont les variables liées à la santé mentale sont prises en considération dans l’élaboration des programmes correctionnels contribuant à la réadaptation des détenus. À ce jour, le modèle fondé sur les principes du risque, des besoins et de la réceptivité (RBR) demeure le modèle d’intervention correctionnelle le plus probant au Canada. Entre facteurs de risque et facteurs de réceptivité spécifique, les variables liées à la santé mentale, par leur caractère protéiforme, peinent à s’intégrer de façon systématique dans les programmes correctionnels du Service correctionnel du Canada (SCC). Cette revue de littérature est limitée aux programmes correctionnels offerts par le SCC vu l’accessibilité de la documentation.
