Modeling the dynamic deformation process of light-responsive liquid crystal elastomer actuator
Bibliographic record
Abstract
Light-responsive liquid crystal elastomer actuators (LCEAs) enables novel remote-controlled soft robot actuation, bringing new possibilities to the application of soft robots. However, these actuators have complicated dynamic characteristics, and a dynamic model that can describe the deformation process of LCEAs is needed to predict and control their deformation. Based on the above consideration, this paper proposes a model to describe the dynamic deformation process of light-responsive LCEAs. The proposed model consists of two parts: a dynamic temperature model and a dynamic deformation model. In order to verify the proposed model, we establish a light-responsive LCEA experimental platform and perform LCEA deformation experiments. The parameters of the model are identified by the nonlinear least squares method. The experimental results show that the proposed model can characterize the dynamic deformation process of LCEAs with precision.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
