Streaming presentations and lectures could use multiple cameras but require a system to select the best camera feed during the session. I migrate a semi-ring based constraint satisfaction problem approach from the virtual domain, to a physical domain using webcams. This approach requires preferences for static constraints to encode the user's preferences, and dynamic constraints to restrict the camera selection to actual configurations at run time. The solver selects the camera feed with the highest preference. The system is tested using two cameras and example results show it selects the camera feed with the highest preference according to the user's specifications. The system is timed with up to four cameras. Challenges with moving to physical cameras and potential future improvements are discussed.
