Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

This research covers a comparison between different configurations for the application of Buckling Restricted Brace (BRB) through the dynamic analysis of an irregular building that does not comply with the maximum drifts in one of its directions and is reinforced with the different configurations.Unlike other research, the factors considered take into account the seismic conditions of Peru and are evaluated under the national regulation E.030 2018.In addition, it seeks to promote research into unconventional structural reinforcement methods in Latin America. The reinforcement with BRB was achieved with the four distributions analyzed: BRB V, Inverted BRB V, BRB X and 2story BRB X.These configurations were applied to the weakest frames of a building with a basement, 5 floors and a roof terrace. In that sense, the configuration that had better performance was 2-story BRB X, with a reduction of the maximum inelastic story drifts of 28.71%.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
