Implementing the Uplink Access in IEEE 802.11bd
Bibliographic record
Abstract
Modern Vehicle-To-Everything (V2X) communications pose stringent requirements on various Quality of Service (QoS) parameters, such as high data rates, low latency, and high reliability, which are crucial for enhancing road safety and vehicular communication efficiency. Existing standards like IEEE 802.11p and LTE-V2X often fall short in meeting these demands. To address these limitations, IEEE 802.11bd introduces advanced techniques, including channel bonding with and without fallback, and traffic prioritization through Enhanced Distributed Channel Access (EDCA). In this paper, we present the first comprehensive analytical model of IEEE 802.11bd uplink operation that includes these features. Our model evaluates the performance enhancements achieved, demonstrating the benefits of IEEE 802.11bd in terms of improved data rates and reduced latency while ensuring compatibility with legacy devices. This work provides valuable insights for the design and implementation of next-generation V2X communication systems.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
