Abstract
Les oeuvres musicales dansées peuvent être analysées sous différents angles. L’objectif de cet article est de comparer quatre méthodes d’analyse choréomusicologiques parmi les plus citées dans la littérature scientifique afin de caractériser au mieux la relation entre la musique et la danse. L’intérêt de de cette recherche vise à permettre de nouvelles études analytiques d’oeuvres du répertoire scénique et folklorique en Bulgarie, mais pas exclusivement. Nous commencerons par explorer la méthode de Stephanie Jordan, puis celle de Fyodor Lopukhov, des trois chercheurs Tamas Ungvary, Simon Waters et Peter Rajka, avant de traiter de celle de Paul Hodgins. Nous évaluerons quelle structure est la plus utile pour l’étude du répertoire folklorique scénique bulgare. Si les catégories proposées par Jordan accordent une place prépondérante au rythme, les lignes directrices développées par Lopukhov relèvent plus de conseils à la création. Les paramètres d’Ungvary, Waters et Rajka s’orientent davantage vers une réflexion sur la caractérisation de la relation entre musique et danse. Le paradigme de Hodgins décline un nombre important de critères d’évaluation choréomusicologiques qui semblent prometteurs.
