La pandémie de COVID-19 a consacré la place centrale des écrans dans notre époque. Assurant la protection et les interactions à une période historique où la prévention de la contagion était primordiale, les écrans ont été légitimés comme garants et organisateurs de la vie privée et publique de millions de personnes. Face à cette légitimation, L’avenir des écrans rassemble quatorze contributions issues de différentes disciplines – de la philosophie à la théorie des médias, des études cinématographiques à la théologie – réfléchissant aux rôles et aux formes que prendront les écrans dans l’avenir. La centralité des écrans sur notre façon de percevoir, d’imaginer, d’agir et de vivre le corps, la sphère sociale et politique est ainsi étudiée à partir de points de vue inédits, divers et complémentaires.
