Fazer musical e vulnerabilidade juvenil: o curso de música da Rede CUCA na Barra do Ceará

Abstract
O presente artigo tem por objetivo analisar o impacto do curso de música da Rede CUCA na vida de jovens da periferia de Fortaleza/Ceará/Brasil em situação de vulnerabilidade social. O texto é um recorte dos resultados da pesquisa intitulada “Estudo sobre as práticas musicais em espaços não institucionalizados no Canadá e no Brasil: formação humana e desenvolvimento através da Educação Musical em comunidades de situação de vulnerabilidade social”, fruto de um projeto de cooperação internacional entre o Brasil e o Canadá, concluído em 2020. As informações no texto foram obtidas por meio de questionários autoadministrados, realizados com os(as) jovens estudantes do curso (N=13). Os resultados sugerem que as aulas de música da Rede Cuca da Barra do Ceará contribuem para o afastamento dos(as) jovens participantes da zona de desfiliação, consequentemente direcionando-os para a zona de integração. Este afastamento mostra-se diretamente relacionado à interação positiva da aprendizagem musical desenvolvida no projeto social a partir de fatores como o bem-estar psicológico, os vínculos afetivos-relacionais e ambiente social e a relação com o trabalho e/ou futuro profissional.
