Alors que de nombreux travaux dénoncent la dépolitisation et la technocratisation de l’Agenda Femmes, Paix et Sécurité des Nations Unies, l’exemple de la résolution 2467 du Conseil de sécurité semble dire le contraire. Le politique n’a pas été évincé de la lutte contre les violences sexistes et sexuelles en période de conflit. À l’aide d’une étude sociohistorique des conditions de négociation et de réception de la résolution, cet article révèle une « politisation résiliente » de ce cadre normatif onusien. Les clivages idéologiques, la pression diplomatique exercée par la délégation des États-Unis, ainsi que les contestations de certains États membres et de la société civile après l’adoption de la résolution, sont autant d’indicateurs attestant de la résistance du politique. À l’heure de la « crise des multilatéralismes », ces négociations invitent finalement à repenser les lignes de fractures traditionnelles du Conseil de sécurité.
