This work uses an integration technique to design an antenna with a circulator forming a full-duplex communication system based on substrate-integrated gap waveguide (SIGW) technology. The SIGW circulator covers a wide frequency range from 27–33 GHz, with an excellent return loss and isolation level over the frequency range. The antenna considered for this work is a PCB-based dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) augmented with rings providing wide bandwidth and high gain.
