Abstract
Résumé Cette revue de la littérature souligne le lien entre le vécu traumatique dans l’enfance, le vécu de stress liés aux minorités, et l’association des deux, dans la perpétration de violences conjugales chez les minorités sexuelles. Même si les violences conjugales dans les couples des minorités apparaissent similaires aux violences dans les couples hétérosexuels, la violence bidirectionnelle y semble plus prégnante. Cette violence bidirectionnelle pourrait provenir d’un processus cyclique des violences de l’enfance à l’âge adulte, passant de traumatismes intrafamiliaux durant l’enfance, à des stress sociétaux liés à l’orientation sexuelle à l’adolescence, et in fine , à une violence dans le couple à l’âge adulte.
