Abstract
It is with great pleasure that I present to you the latest issue of Canada's higher education journal, comprised of eight research articles and three book reviews.The articles represent some of the rich diversity of higher education scholarship across the country, exploring the experiences of undergraduate and graduate students, department chairs, and faculty researchers and interrogating the varied ways that Canada's postsecondary institutions are positioned.By drawing upon unique datasets or undertaking interviews, focus groups, surveys, critical discourse analysis, or content analysis, the authors advance new insights regarding higher education in Canada.Throughout this collection, several authors devote attention to the inequities and challenges that continue to confront students and scholars within Canada's institutions and provide recommendations for researchers, practitioners, and leaders to work toward better futures.
