Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Abstract. The Jatayu Flea Market area is one of the used goods markets that is quite popular with the public, with the main commodity being scrap metal. The location of this market is quite strategic because it is close to the capital of Cicendo District, Bandung City. In practice, trading activities in this market area are not organized because trading goods are often stored on the sidewalk area which takes up pedestrian space. The market's on-street parking area on Jalan Komodor Udara Supadio also causes traffic obstruction, especially its location close to a road intersection. Apart from that, the location of this market is close to Alun-alun Cicendo which has been revitalized, resulting in a disparity in spatial aesthetics compared to the shabby condition of the market building. The aim of this research is to formulate a concept for structuring the Jatayu Flea Market area in Bandung City which is expected to be able to respond to problems that arise from trading activities in the market and its surroundings. This research uses a mix methods method with data collection techniques through field observations, interviews, literature studies and institutional surveys. The analyzes used include descriptive analysis, site analysis, and space program analysis. As a result, the arrangement of the market area requires additional space for facilities that are not yet available based on the applicable standards. The resulting concept for structuring the Jatayu Flea Market area is a combination of the market area with street vendors for the synergy of the used goods economy as well as the concept of an environmentally friendly area for managing used goods waste.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
