Abstract. The Development Strategy for Kampung Benua Melayu Laut (BML) Tourism in Pontianak City is carried out to develop the potential for natural tourism, cultural tourism, and artificial tourism in the Kapuas Riverbank area in order to increase tourism appeal, strengthen integration between traditional tourism and existing tourism around the Benua Melayu Laut village, and support sustainable tourism development both economically, socio-culturally and spatially. Kampung Melayu BML Tourism is a new tourism that was formed in 2022 and is located close to the Waterfront city or Promenade waterfront tourism area, so the two tours will influence each other, which finally Promenade Waterfront tourism is included in the category of Kampung Melayu BML tourist attractions. There are natural attractions such as river cruises, cultural tourism such as Kuning Agung and artificial attractions such as cycling along the village that can be developed in this tourism area. The analysis method used is demand analysis and SWOT analysis, then the approach method used is the Mix Methods approach or qualitative and quantitative analysis with the implementation of participatory planning and a regional approach. BML itself is an abbreviation of Benua Melayu Laut which is a sub-district located in Pontianak Selatan district, West Kalimantan. Abstrak. Strategi Pengembangan Wisata Kampung Benua Melayu Laut (BML) Kota Pontianak dilakukan untuk mengembangkan potensi wisata alam, wisata budaya, dan wisata buatan yang ada di kawasan tepian Sungai Kapuas guna meningkatkan daya tarik pariwisata, memperkuat integrasi antar wisata adat dan wisata yang sudah ada disekitar kampung Benua Melayu Laut, dan mendukung pembangunan pariwisata yang berkelanjutan baik secara ekonomi, sosial budaya dan tata ruang. Wisata Kampung Melayu BML adalah wisata baru yang dibentuk pada tahun 2022 dan berlokasi berdekatan dengan kawasan wisata Waterfront city atau Promenade waterfront maka kedua wisata tersebut akan saling mempengaruhi satu sama lain, yang akhirnya wisata Promenade Waterfront masuk dalam kategori objek wisata Kampung Melayu BML. Terdapat atraksi alam seperti kapal wisata susur sungai, wisata budaya seperti Kuning Agung dan atraksi buatan seperti bersepeda susur kampung yang dapat dikembangkan di kawasan pariwisata ini. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis demand dan analisis SWOT lalu untuk metode pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan Mix Methods atau analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan implementasi participatory planning dan pendekatan kewilayahan. BML sendiri merupakan singkatan dari Benua Melayu Laut yang merupakan sebuah kelurahan yang terletak di kecamatan Pontianak Selatan, Kalimantan Barat.
