Abstract. The environment is everything that is around our place of life or residence, every living thing is greatly influenced by its environment and vice versa. Therefore, a good environment is an environment that is organized and does not have many problems. However, currently there are many environmental problems, especially regarding waste, especially in rural areas such as illegal dumping caused by the absence of waste facilities in the form of TPS. This waste problem is a shared responsibility. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to identify the most suitable location to be used as a TPS in terms of technical aspects as a form of effort to overcome waste problems. The approach used in this research is qualitative, to examine various aspects such as policy, community readiness, and existing conditions to be recommended as a candidate location for TPS. The data used in this study used data on slope, accessibility, soil conditions, distance to highways, distance to settlements, and distance to rivers. The data analysis technique used in this research is analysis using ArcGis software by using the intersect tool to combine existing data. The results of this study indicate that there are three most potential locations for TPS. Abstrak. Lingkungan adalah segala sesuatu yang ada di sekitar tempat hidup atau tempat tinggal kita, setiap makhluk hidup sangat dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan hidupnya dan sebaliknya. Maka dari itu, lingkungan yang baik merupakan lingkungan yang tertata dan tidak memiliki banyak permasalahan. Namun saat ini banyak sekali permasalahan lingkungan khususnya mengenai persampahan terutama di daerah-daerah perdesaan seperti pembuangan liar yang disebabkan karena tidak adanya sarana persampahan berupa TPS. Permasalahan persampahan ini merupakan tanggung jawab bersama. Maka dari itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi lokasi yang paling sesuai untuk dijadikan TPS yang ditinjau dari aspek teknis sebagai bentuk upaya untuk mengatasi permasalahan persampahan. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif, untuk mengkaji berbagai aspek seperti kebijakan, kesiapan masyarakat, serta kondisi eksisting yang ada untuk direkomendasikan menjadi calon lokasi pengadan TPS. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data kemiringan lereng, aksesibilitas, kondisi tanah, jarak terhadap jalan raya, jarak terhadap permukiman, dan jarak terhadap sungai. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis menggunakan software ArcGis dengan menggunakan tool intersect untuk menggabungkan data-data yang ada. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa didapatkan tiga lokasi paling potensial untuk dijadikan TPS.
