Abstract. The development of Subang Smartpolitan Industrial Estate is an important part of industrial estate development in Subang Regency, located in the strategic area of West Java Province as know as Rebana with an area of ±2,717 hectares. With development already underway, the local government needs to ensure the readiness of the community in facing the Subang Smartpolitan Industrial Estate. Leaders have an important role in human resource development to ensure appropriate development steps can be taken. This study aims to identify the level of readiness of the Cipeundeuy Sub-district community in facing the development of the Subang Smartpolitan Industrial Estate. The research method used was mixed method, with data collected through structured interviews with 25 key respondents from village community organizations in Cipeundeuy Sub-district. The community readiness assessment was conducted using the dimensions of the Community Readiness Model, which includes community knowledge of efforts, knowledge related to issues, community climate, leadership, and resources related to efforts. The results of the analysis show that community readiness in Cipeundeuy Sub-district is at the Preplanning Stage level, the 4th level out of 9 levels. At this level, most communities have at least heard about the program or activity but have very limited knowledge, some communities have limited knowledge about the issue, some community attitudes towards the issue are still mediocre, even though they are aware of the impact, leaders recognize that the issue is a community concern and have begun to take steps to address it, and resources used for efforts to address the issue are still limited. Abstrak. Pembangunan Kawasan Industri Subang Smartpolitan merupakan bagian penting dari pengembangan kawasan industri di Kabupaten Subang, terletak di Kawasan Strategis Provinsi (KSP) Jawa Barat, yang dikenal dengan Kawasan Rebana dengan luas ± 2.717 hektar. Dengan pembangunan yang sudah berjalan, pemerintah daerah perlu memastikan kesiapan masyarakat dalam menghadapi Kawasan Industri Subang Smartpolitan. Pemimpin memiliki peran penting dalam pengembangan sumber daya manusia untuk memastikan langkah-langkah pengembangan yang tepat dapat diambil. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat kesiapan masyarakat Kecamatan Cipeundeuy dalam menghadapi pengembangan Kawasan Industri Subang Smartpolitan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode campuran (mix method), dengan data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara terstruktur dengan 25 responden kunci dari lembaga kemasyarakatan desa di Kecamatan Cipeundeuy. Penilaian kesiapan masyarakat dilakukan menggunakan dimensi Community Readiness Model, yang mencakup pengetahuan masyarakat terhadap upaya, pengetahuan terkait isu, iklim masyarakat, kepemimpinan, dan sumber daya terkait upaya. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kesiapan masyarakat di Kecamatan Cipeundeuy berada pada tingkat Preplanning Stage atau pra perencanaan, tingkat ke-4 dari 9 tingkat yang ada. Pada tingkat ini Sebagian besar masyarakat setidaknya pernah mendengar tentang program atau kegiatan tetapi memiliki pengatahuan yang sangat terbatas, sebagian masyarakat memiki pengetahuan yang terbatas mengenai isu, sebagian sikap masyarakat terhadap isu masih biasa saja, meskipun mereka sudah menyadari dampaknya, para pemimpin mengakui bahwa masalah ini menjadi keprihatinan masyarakat dan telah mulai mengambil langkah-langkah untuk mengatasinya, dan sumber daya yang digunakan untuk upaya dalam mengatasi masalah masih terbatas.
