Abstract. Indonesia has abundant natural potential, this is a resource as well as a large capital for tourism development and improvement efforts and must be utilized optimally and maintained for sustainability. Ecotourism is part of sustainable tourism whose orientation is responsible for maintaining, preserving the environment and maintaining the sustainability of natural areas in terms of enjoying nature. Santolo Beach as a port and fishery area as well as a beach tourism object that is quite popular with tourists. The high trend of "back to nature" tourism creates its own opportunities for Santolo Beach to develop and improve existing potential to be more competitive and sustainable so that the number of tourist visits increases with the creation of a development strategy. This study aims to formulate a development strategy in utilizing and maximizing existing potential. This study uses a mix methods approach with SWOT analysis. The data used are primary and secondary data obtained through interviews, questionnaires, observations and related literature studies. The results of the study show that the Santolo Beach development strategy is in quadrant 1, namely an aggressive strategy by utilizing the strengths and opportunities it has. Abstrak. Indonesia memiliki potensi alam yang melimpah hal ini menjadi sumber daya sekaligus modal yang besar bagi usaha pengembangan dan peningkatan kepariwisataan dan harus dimanfaatkan secara optimal dan di jaga kelestariannya agar berkelanjutan. Ekowisata menjadi bagian dari pariwisata berkelanjutan yang orientasi bentuk perjalanan wisatanya bertanggung jawab dalam menjaga, melestarikan lingkungan dan relatife menjaga kelestarian Kawasan alam dalam hal menikmati alam. Pantai Santolo sebagai kawasan pelabuhan dan perikanan sekaligus objek wisata pantai yang cukup banyak diminati wisatawan. Tingginya tren wisata “kembali ke alam” membuat peluang tersendiri bagi Pantai Santoolo untuk mengembangkan dan meningkatkan potensi yang ada agar lebih kompetitif dan berkelanjutan sehingga meningkatnya jumlah kunjungan wisata dengan dibuatnya strategi pengembangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan strategi pengembangan dalam memanfaatkan dan memaksimalkan potensi yang ada. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mix methods dengan analisis SWOT. Data yang digunakan data primer dan sekunder diperoleh melalui wawancara, kuesioner, observasi dan studi literatur yang berkaitan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan strategi pengembangan Pantai Santolo berada pada kuadran 1 yaitu startegi agresif dengan memanfaatkan kekuatan dan peluang yang dimiliki.
