Abstract
The article deals with the theoretical issues of the theory of communication. Information exchange between different systems is an object of communication. The subject field of the theory of communication can always be expanded with the emergence of new knowledge; there is an idea of a holistic, comprehensive development of the object under study with the involvement of data from different sciences. Synthesis of social, natural science and technical knowledge of a communicative nature in the context of the research of the Toronto School.
